On this page we will share the efforts of the Chamber to beautify our town.

Blakeman, (center), displayed one of several “Welcome To Franklin Square’”signs recently installed by the Town of Hempstead at the request of the Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce. Also pictured,(l. to r.) are: Chamber Treasurer Elaine Russo, Executive Secretary Larry Prendergast, T.O.H. Supervisor of Traffic Control Gary Aue, Chamber Co-President Bruno M. Caracciolo, 1st Vice President Lisa DelliPizzi, Board Member Angela Romano, 4th Vice President Bill Youngfert and Secretary Joe McDonald.
On Sunday, December 7, 2014 the Holiday Banners were being installed by Go West Electric on Hempstead Turnpike. This is an ongoing project of the FS Chamber of Commerce and paid by donations by many local businesses and some residents. The Chamber has ordered new banners for the Memorial Day and 4th of July time of the year that will replace these holiday banners in the spring.
Below are photos of the flower beds planted by our landscaper!
Businesses must water the beds everyday of the plantings will die.
